AP Writing Workshop- Rising Juniors & Seniors

M-F | 4:30 – 6:30 pm

The junior year is critical to both high school and college success. This workshop will help prepare you for the challenges ahead by helping you find your voice and learn vital deep revision skills. These writing skills will not only support your academic work, but prepare you for the next steps in tackling the writing tasks of their AP classes and writing your personal statements when applying to college.

Personal Statement- Rising Seniors
Jun 19th – 23rd | Jul 31st – Aug 4th
M-F | 4:30 – 6:30 pm

A dynamic personal statement is a gateway into the college of your dreams. In this one-week, intensive writing workshop, you will write and polish several adaptable personal statements while learning how to revise your work for clarity, coherence and consistency. You will learn valuable collaboration and writing skills, which will help you now and throughout your college years. The instructor will provide individualized, constructive feedback about your writing throughout the process in order to ensure that all students create an engaging personal statement.

Computer Science Courses


Intro to Coding – Suggested Grade Level: 9th – 12th
Jul 31st – Aug 4th
M-F | 1-4pm | On Friday, camp concludes at 3pm

In this course you will learn the fundamentals of writing computer code and develop computational thinking skills. You are taught the basics of both programming and design through hands-on, project based learning. This course will introduce you to the practical possibilities of computer programming. Robotics, web applications,video games, etc. are all built on top of this foundational knowledge.

Introduction to Artificial Intelligence – Suggested Grade Level: 10th – 12th
Jul 24th – Aug 4th
2 weeks (8 sessions)| M-Th | 1-4pm

If the advancement in technology has proven anything, it is that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will soon be apart of every day life. Amazon’s Alexa is a prime example of low level Artificial Intelligence. In this class, you will learn how to build and take home your very own AI device and learn how to write programs for Amazon Alexa.
