Introduction to Electronics
Suggested Grade Level
Incoming 4th – 8th Grade*
Sensors are the eyes and ears of machines and devices. They’re used in robots, smart phones, video game controllers, musical instruments, and more. An Arduino is an electronic brain that listens and responds to sensor data, such as control LED lights, make buzzers buzz, or control the motors of a robot. During this project, you will use a variety of sensors, an Arduino, along with some wires, a breadboard, and a little know-how, we’ll build multiple electronics projects. At the conclusion of the camp, we host a showcase event in which you will present your project and take your creations home for continued enjoyment and learning. Are you ready to challenge yourself and think like an Electrical Engineer?
